DMOZ (from directory.mozilla.org, its original domain name) is a multilingual open content directory of World Wide Web links. The site and community who maintain it are also known as the Open Directory Project (ODP). It is owned by AOL but constructed and maintained by a community of volunteer editors.
A web site listing on Dmoz can be an important part of having a web site rank well in Google, because Google uses Dmoz results in its own directory. However, getting a site to be listed can be a long process due to the human factor of requiring each site that is submitted for inclusion requiring review.
Use our bulk DMOZ checker to see if your or your competitors sites are listed.
